You can pull the 13cc macs to 11" if the setup and prop are right.

You have to open the stinger to .470 let it breath or it will just load up and not rev.

V cut 1667 from Mark S is the ticket on a rigger.

Send it to Norm for heat treating and it will survive.

Very few nitro boats race in are Dis any more......................
 
Bore the thick wall CMB header and reduce the pipe diameter and it will telescope up in the header so no hot gases get to the coupler at all.

Doc, either you and/or Mark have one of the A/A 80/90 muffled pipes on hand. Give it a try. It will turn a lot of rpm for you. That and the Rossi 90 pipe, which you or Mark already have should work well also.
 
Against everyone's opinion I choose the rossi pipes from Al and I love them they work great on my 91 Evo and turn plenty of rpm's. Couldn't be happier with my choice I also went the thick wall header way and milled them down on my lathe works great
