I am in the beginning stages of building a site for the new club in southern Indiana. Being that we are a new club and all of our members have been involved in the hobby for less than a year, we don't exactly have many pictures. I intend for the site to be very picture heavy in the future, with the possiblility for video, but it would be nice to have a few now for seed. Would anyone like to submit pictures for use on this site? All attempts at proper credit will be given to the owner. Action shots are preferred, but concours photos are welcome as well. True, I could go out and cabbage the photos from the net, but that wouldn't be right would it?

You can submit photos to:

[email protected]

Many thanks in advance.

Jamie

Ah, another club in Indiana - hope your club grows strong, be cool to have some more boats to run with nearby !!!

We are in Floyds Knobs. That is about 20 minutes outside Louisville. I don't have the address of the pond handy, but it is located at the Huber Orchard and Winery (Winery, actually). Exit #119 if you are coming off of I-64 or come up US 60 if you are around Salem/Paoli/Borden. The zip is 47119 if you choose to do a map. The facility is a family owned farm with many u-pick crops and of course the aforementioned winery as well as restaurant. I believe we are hosting a race at the end of July. If we get the race, it should be a family friendly event with the restaurant and the orchard there. Not sure on that one though, don't hold me to it. We should be running in March when the weather breaks a little. Right now everybody is trying to get a boat(s) ready. Tough all over I guess  . We have had a couple of guys from the board come out and run with us. The lake is plenty big for the fast boats. Definitely check back with us in a month or so to find out when we will be heading out to the lake. Look up myself or chriscrash.

Don, thanks for the pics so quickly. They are great.

Been at the pond once. Met many friendly boaters there, lots of tunnels :D Nice area to run boats in with the extended large dock out on the water. Plan on coming out more this year.. Think I'll turn on the GPS to find my way out as I had to follow Chris from the maze

Take any pics off my sites that listed below. Took many shots from the 2004 IMPBA Internats.

Thanks to everybody for their contributions. I got a lot done today and hope to have the site up early next week. Need to register the domain and find a host.

Don, the picture you sent of the rigger in the turn is the headline shot. Hope you don't mind. That is just an awesome photo.
