Essentially an .09 and think your one decimal point off

Small rigger is right ..... what a hoot if you can get it all together and stay under a couple pounds ?

hi there

you might find when Picco first made them it was a .50 then they updated it to make it fit in the class of 16th to 18th scale cars and made it a .85cc

thanks neal

and yes the boat is already made ( scaled down JAE .12) hardest part will be the shaft and prop?????)

thanks neal

Thats cool, i have the same engine and built a mini bantam to put it in but been havin collet issues, what i had done is had a supervee 27 flywheel flipped around and machined down, the hole that goes over the threads on the .18 fits perfect on the picco crank, then a groove was made in to use a drive belt from a mini touring car to start.. Now the collet i used a octura for .098 cable and 5/32 shaft, that fits right on that piece they give ya for the clutch bell, then i put a flat spot on that and tightened down the set screw. Now here is the prob, when tryin to tighten up the collet it just walks on that C B shaft and then it blew out the end of it,cuz how it works is the wrench part of it goes inside the flywheel where on the .18 it goes over the crank and the collet presses against it. thought it would haved worked. Not much that will fit these engines,i also put a OS .10la carb on it to get rid of the slide carb fits perfect, good luck with it man, may finish mine if i can overcome the issues, matt

That's very cool. Octura makes a 1630 and a 1427 with 1/8" bores, should be close.

Not to hijack the thread but a friend picked up a tiny Russian marine vavola style .It actually looks pretty hi performance I tell him we need to make a mini JAE for it came with pipe too, But one speed carb maybe we can make up an old style K&B ex throttle.

Hi, old thread I know, how did you got with this project?

Im in the planning stages of a twin P Zero rigger.

Cheers, Sam.
