Dale, that is a decal that "Crazy Al" Hobbs sends out with the engines. It says "K-45 From Russia with love, Crazy Al". I'm still messing with the K-45 yet, trying different pipes and props. When I get it dialed it's a hot little puppy! The Rossi Niagara has been a MAC and CMB killer, it gets faster every time I take it out. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it and hope to bring it to a Chicago area race next season, probably Joliet.

The other decals on the boat on the deck are for the team, Wet Paint Racing.

I've only had it done since mid June, & i have a young family(a 4yr old & a 2 1/2yr old), so I didn't have much time to get away to run it. It is an old Dumas Dragon fly kit that was orginaly my brothers. He gave it to me when he moved out of State, & I forgot that it was there until i met a friend who is into RC boats. So I started to build it. Here it is running.

No mods to get the Rossi going. The boat had a Nova Rossi in it that blew 2 weeks before the first race of the season and bolted directly into the spot. I used the same measurements for the pipe. It has taken a while for it to break in which I hope translates into longer run time before it needs a rebuild. I did use the Nava rossi header on the engine although it was a tight fit on the exhaust boss but it has a tighter radius than the Rossi's header. I started iwth a X440/3 and other props but the Prather 220 seems to work best on it. I use Grimmy's pipe measuring tool to set up the pipes that I try.

Wade, if you want some of your CAD drawings posted, I might be able to do it if you want some input from the gang in here or try it yourself, maybe start a new thread on it.

HEHEHEH i have the same stickers on my twin, they say "K90 from russia with love crazy als" hehehe

i have been interested in getting a K45 for a mono, but first i have to get my next K90 for my x mono, i love the k motors will never buy anything else!!
