IF YOU REALY WANT TO RUN, NEITHER MOTOR IS THE ONE. TRY NOVAROSSI OR ROSSI OR THE NEW MAC THAT IS COMING OUT. STAY AWAY FROM THE CMB 3.5, THEIR JUNK UNLESS YOU HAVE A BUDDY THAY DOES MACHINE WORK.

Here is the skinny, As to K@B nobody can get any answers as to ship dates on new motors or parts, And OS is rumored to be discontinuing the outboard.

Now if your planing to run a mod motor your going to need 27 inch min. hull length to stay on the water with one of the new Rossi powerheads, so kinda depends on what ya wanna do. Maybe one of the board members has a K@B or OS mod outboard for sale?

I talked to my buddy at O.S. Discontinued. He said that he doesn't know what everyone is talking about.

If the executives are planning such a move he will let me know.

Maybe they will make a new improved model !!!!!

Just have to wait an see !!!!!!

As long as they make car engines you will have parts !!!!!

Hammer you may have a Import money maker sending parts and engines to use !!!! besides HH12!!!

I dont think the problem is with OS in Japan, its with Great Planes/Hobbico the US distributor.

Yeah when the two biggest manufactures of outboards, and their distribution cant seem ta get their duck's in a row, it's sad!!!

You might drop Tim at PB a line on the flex shafts he outta come up with something for ya,

Hi Eddy.

I ran the OS last year in the Sport 21 tunnel class. It was a great engine for me. Very reliable. I think you know who won the High Points in that class against 27 other tunnels.

Hi Everyone,

I now have an OS OB and I have to say I like the way it's made - typical OS quality. What is the issue with the liners peeling? Randy - what did you do to yours and how did you set it up. eg

Hull

Prop

Nitro

Mods

Just picking your brains. I can't believe how far back it puts the prop - heaps further than even a Lawless. Did it effect the way you set your boat up.

Nitro - RedMax 50%

Mods - removed low speed needle

Dont touch the liner ports at all or the nickel can flake off.

Open the cranks induction up to 215, fit a pipe and hold on!

Thanks for the info!! I have a O.S. that is not broke in all the way yet, I got it at a deal !!! 170

and know the history from a very reliable source. The man that sold & started the brake-in for the young man. 4 tanks of fuel with this man doing the tuning only.

Tim what engine haven't you run ?? ;D
