Has anyone run one of these? Looks like a pretty nice engine. I was wondering from a machining and performance standpoint how they stack up against the Nova Keep .21 out of the box. Also does anyone know the crank size, is it a 14mm or 14.5?

-Mitch

Not me, Butch Londrigan just sold one on here. Mitch try checking with René Danner or Tim Gray, they have been running them.

The OPS DAC outboard are great motors with lots of power. The machining is vary nice and well done. I don't no what the crank was for sure. Get ahold of gotnitro.com. They sell them and have all the parts in the USA. I think they are as good as the nova rossi and a little cheaper.

Butch you think this engine is better then the nova rossi keep engine with 45000 rpm just asking looking to build a mod 20

For the price it vary good motor and put it on a Vision even better (with the right setup). The only thing I didn't like was the stock carb. I ran a Frank Orlic .338 bore carb on mine. Rene has ran his longer and his is real fast.

My OS on a Vision would not even come close to my mod Vision setup. My OS Vision Is pretty fast though. You can't go wrong with the nova rossi its a great motor also. You don't need a carb also.

Thanks Butch, The motor is good but like Butch said the carb is not that good, There also was a few problems with the motor which they have fixed once I get some wet water will be testing it again. Here is a vid from last year on the back of my NX320 running a 442 prop and Gadjet pipe.

And BTW that is completely stock except for Frank Orlic carb(.338) and head clearance a 8 thou.

That beast moves out Rene!!! Go knock on Alden's door for me please he has been avoiding my texts the last week:(

That may be true Kris not sure, I have not run the new crank yet time will tell, Also does it not come down to setup. And 450 is a price tag that is out of us working people with kids and such, so if I have to work with setup and props so be it.

Of Course Rene, that oberservation would have been with the early engine (maybe 12-18 months ago?)

$450 is alot of money yes, but ALOT less than than old days of $400-$500 for an engine, plus $250-$300 for a conversion Kit (if you could get one!).

A well setup OS will beat a poorly setup Nova, DAC, etc....a good driver also helps
