well I'v been looking for a cmb 90 for a good wile with no luck

things were not looking good and then i whent to a omra meeting and a guy had a brand new ops .90 for sale at a good price , so i thought what the hell and i bought it

this was prob the best thing i done as i put it in a sigma hull and gave it its firt run

boy o boy did that move .

i race in omra in England and i race D class, the ops will be in C class

i allways follow all the races and i can tell you now guys that the ops will walk all over the cmb , i did not think i would ever say that but when i put the boat in the water and all i was doing was just under half throttle and boy that was moving , so i can't wait to give it the big one

i think i just need to get the pipe length a bit better , all tips greatly appreciated

regards

You are welcome to enjoy your OPS ... as long as it lasts :)

When you need bearings or other parts ... you'll know why OPS is not used anymore in serious racing.

HendricX you did not make your self clear !!!! is it the Price or what   bearings are no different in price and piston and liner is cheaper than the cmb

so can't see where you are coming from ????

I know that parts used to be a problem, but now there has been a change in availability of parts.

Her in Norway and Sweden it is easy to get parts as the suppliers keep all parts in stock.

The cost of parts are way under the cmb cost.

I have been looking into the new 90 from OPS and it is a total new engine inside, they have made a effort off making a great engine. Outside you wont see any difference.

In the first round off our league here in Norway I observed a Swedish guy running a Delta Force 90 with a OPS 90. The other compete where all running CMB on high nitro, but this guy run the engine total stock on 15% nitro, and the boat performed as god as any other. I believe that OPS are coming back, just give it time.

I know from the the distributor here in Scandinavia that we soon will see some new designs from OPS.

Go ahead and race your OPS, I think its nice to see people start using other brands off engines the CMB.

hi Dave its pain in the ass from Northampton

i do agree with you as it dose not matter what i put in the sigma it goes great

as you know i bought two off you and they are spot on

2nd in the D class championship in omra (so far) for my first year racing can't be bad , you will have to tune my zen 7 the same as yours dave :D

i think thats a good deal the amount of money i have spent with you. no swearing please Dave .

regards

Darren
