So...I pulled the back plate off my engine to look inside and I noticed that the black wheel spun around and Im sure that now its not going to line up where it needs to be.... there is a crank pin that drives this black wheel. Thanks for any help in advance. Just trying to figure out which void it goes into...im thinking the 10 o'clock position is where it should be.

In the pictures that you have posted. The crank pin goes in the slotted hole in the rotor (black wheel) that has the wear marks on it. They are from the rod when it spins. Just line them up and gently push the housing in. you might have to jiggle the crank to get it. When done make sure it is in the slot by looking through the carb hole and make sure it turns with the crank.

in the last picture I think where it goes is by my thumb, there are 2 little marks that look like the pin was in there, you guys are reffering to the shinny area in the 2 o'clock position, there are no marks in that recess from a pin, it looks like its just brushing against the rod when it swings by.

it goes in the long narrow slot on the right.if it's in WRONG,you will see the beam of the rod in the the way, when looking through the inlet, and turning the engine clockwise,(while looking at the inlet end). if it's right you will only see the edge of the rod and the big end past the rotor opening(while turning clockwise, from inlet end)

When you get it in the slot it's easy to check if it's in the right slot. With the backplate on the engine look into the carb and turn the crank in the direction the engine will be turning when running. the piston should be going up as the rotor opens to let fuel into the engine. Rock the crank left to right to make sure the pin is in the slot. The rotor will move with the crank instantly. If there is a lag, you missed the slot.
