you know i visted Dave franks web site, a site that was built for the do-it-yourselfer and i saw that he said he was shutting it down. The reason.....because people were harrassing him about not supporting his products. c'mon people the man is retired from this thing the site said FOR THE DO-IT yourself what's not to understand with that!

anyway what are your thoughts on enlarging the oh boy oberto for a 21 i'm thinking 32"*16"

You would probably need to redraw some of the bottom to take some lift out. If I remember right that boat has a lot of lift.(batteries are heavy)

Bandit Boats makes one. It is 29 inches long and 14.5 wide. I just finished one for my wife to drive. Its powered by a K&B 21 and what little testing we have done we have it running 45mph so far. Still have alot of setup to do yet and I think it will run close to 50 when finished.

Currently it has a stock X442. Iwant to try a 1445 to try and lift the tail up. The only place to put a radio box was in the rear and that made the boat a little tail heavy.

saw the boat that buddy's wife drives at the last evensville race this sept. ran realy well. she is a RANK BEGINNER as well and races with the big guys. too bad she lost her smiley face tho.

also, (buddy), the 40 is going about 65 now. still needs more prop work and set up time, but will haev to wait till we get settled into the DC area and after the winter thaw. p.s. send me your e-mail address
