Most of us have to dial with only single engine so what do you think have eight turbines running at the same time in a huge model!

Gil,

They must be rich. It looks like an AWESOME plane,I wonder how fast it

cruises?

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Awesome, that's spectacular........ROCK-ON!!!

When I was about 18, my daddy and I had a control line model of a DC-3. It had a 6' wingspan and it was powered by 4 (yes 4) of those dyna-jets. It was really hard to get all those jets running at the same time because (if anybody remembers) they had little or no throttle. When my daddy would fly it, we had to actually harness him to the ground because the plane would pull so hard that he would never be able to stand in one place.

We ended up giving the plane away after I burnt my left pinky finger half off while trying to start the 4th engine.....I can only imagine the difficulty and safety issues of all those turbines.....WOW. Kudos to the owner. :p

The current turbines are computer controlled, nowhere near the headaches of the "old generation" turbines. A good friend of mine flies the turbine jets & told me it's easier to start his twin turbine jets than my twin riggers (he used to pit for me when he was running boats).

We have lot of turnines working on model helicopters where I run my boats and they are very easy to deal with. The sound is awesome like the full size ones but the price....forget US3000 only the engine ! Considering all acessories you end up with 4M !
