     Wow !! There are fuels advertised here in excess of 50 % ....just sayin .....
hi pal, long time no see, just spoke to a guy who delivers VP FUELS and we were just talking about the deal with the supposed (china olimpics)spelling..and the lack of nitro and he said to me if i knew the deal and said of course, the reason was don shumacher and john force had everyone by the teabags and

they tried to cover it up and throw the BS about china.the said thing is,we do not make the nitro here anymore, it comes from china, russia, and a few other places.

dow chemical closed up the last nitro plant and stripped the warehouse claen and sent it all overseas.see you in the fall! :) mikie.

i just bought 65% wildcat last month....... was told by the shop owner that while they don't advertise it on their web site, he can order it. not gonna drag him into this with his name. he is on here & can chime in if he desires. don ferrette picked it up for me at the impba nats, he knows it's true.

Well maybe HOBBICO should put there Name On the Bottles... If they purchased the Odonnell fuel Product Line to run it into the Ground!! They (hobbico) Own the Product Brand & all of the rights to it....... The Odonnell (HOBBICO) fuel has not been the same since it left the West coast mfgering. & went to the mid west mfging of a HOBBICO location. Prices are Out of LINE & the PERFORMANCE is Not there........ :( :(
First and foremost Hobbico DID purchase the fuel band.. Just making that clear for those reading..

Joe.. Take a close look at a bottle next time you see one.. Great Planes is clearly on the label.

Also.. the formula did not change AT ALL. The ODonnells did a great job working with us on this. The fuel is as good as it ever was.

I also have to ask.. Do you think the team drivers using the fuel, AND WINNING WIH IT.. say the performance is not there.. not a chance.. its dang good fuel..

Keep racing!

Grim
That's odd, Jack O'Donnell told me there were no team drivers for O'Donnell. You must then be talking about Hobbico/Great Planes team drivers?

Buckshot,

How are ya.. Well I hope..

Yes we/hobbico own and manage the fuel team but.. as it goes it was SteveO that wanted both Ron Zaker Jr and Raphael Amarola on the fuel team (Raphael Declined). Ron Jr was well on his way to a Futaba Sponsorship before the fuel deal came to. So you are right but we still feel that Odonnall’s have say in this. Heck there name is on the bottle!

And at the same time:

We make the final fuel sponsor call for ODO fuel and at this time that includes just a couple of members.

Even though we manage both teams (Futaba and ODO Fuel) and just so you know, if one is a member of Team Futaba it does not make them a member of the ODO fuel team. Jerry C and Chris W are great examples of this.

Having said that I/we have ZERO intentions of asking Ron Jr (for instance) to switch to our new Grimracer boat fuel. We/I feel if SteveO feels he earned a spot on the ODO fuel team we have no intensions of getting In the way of that.. he earned it.. he deserves it. Truth is I would not even ask him to switch..

The bottom line is no matter how the O’Donnell’s feel towards me, our new fuel, whatever.. I like em.. I like what they have done for our hobby and have full respect for that. I really feel the best way to go forward is to take a look into the past. If the past can teach us then the ODOs are and will be a good part of our future.
