On the website of novarossi I saw this about headers.

Does anyone know if this works on O/B modified NR's too?

This is what I mean exactly:

Part 41015: 5 fins manifold - short type (best solution on long straights)

Part 41016: 6 fins manifold - medium type (suggested to have more push exiting curves and on the straight)

Part 41017: 7 fins manifold - long type (more power exiting curves)

Will these work for boat-engines too?

Ronald,

It appears to me that they are essentially just spacers to allow the car guys to change their pipe lengths. The on-road car guys use different headers / couplers to what we use in marine applications and changing pipe lengths is not something they try as often as boaters......
