Possibly not considering the silver head not purple. Those were the original batches. The flywheel lock cones were changed as well.

I believe it is just a tolerance change on the rod. You would have to open the clearance up just a little.

The rods are stronger as they updated them. 2x

According to the parts diagram in the box, the conrod is P/N 07700. I forgot to add that this comes with a 14mm bore KRE carb and a Nova remote needle. It is completely factory stock and has never seen fuel.

I haven’t ran them and I know you have, back when Bullard was a dealer he had mentioned the tolerance change. What did they do to make them stronger as this could be done in a couple of different ways and how do you know when you have a good one?
