Sam, I think you'll end up quite a bit shorter than 11 3/4. I've ran close to 10 inches with a 2718 on a traditional rear sponson boat and the engine wanted more load. Launching a bigger prop without a ski was the issue.

Dave,

Not sure what bigger propeller you were trying to launch, but I think the extra

Blade area ratio or the overall diameter could have been the problem? The newest

ABC propellers with 38% blade area ratio should work much better than the old 50%

BAR propellers. 12% is a lot more load that is really not doing anything for your set up,

but loading the engine with too much cup and blade area. When more of the new blades

are available from ABC I am sure you guys will test them out on your boats and like the

new smaller blade areas.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Sam,

Going to test that new 2719-19-38% tomorrow?

Do you have a Muck-15 cc pipe to test?

Mark
Mark I ran the cutdown 2719 on the 60 boat worked great smooth and fast!! Didn't get to run the .91 but one time... Will be testing more next weekend. Thanks for the props!

Sam what did you cut it down to as I have been wanting to try the same thing on my Novarossi .61

Thanks Sam that's a perfect size for me. I currently run the octura H667 on my .61 with just a little pitch over stock and full diameter. I hear alot of guys are running H32 props and I'm not sure why other than maybe rpm and not much torque. It wasn't enough prop for me without having to put what I feel was to much pitch it.

Thank you, Dale

Dale,

We have found through extensive testing that the added rake angle and less blade area ratio

are two of the most important parts in successful propeller selection for your current boats.

Watch your strut settings as we have found most of these new "Game Changers" need the

strut lowered into the water a little more for better efficiency.

Thanks Mark for the information and I'll keep that in mind when testing. When I can get a prop to cut down.Thank you, Dale
