Friends, if you bought one of the earlier .46 motors that have the 3mm barrel retaining bolt and have had problems with the bolt breaking, please let me know and I will send you a new carb with the 4mm bolt. The new carbs should be here next week.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!

Glenn what would it cost for a block crank and bearings for a 9 port DD. Im lookin at buying a regular 46 and converting it to a DD thanks Charlie

Glenn,

Does this affect the IB and OB engines, adj needle/no adj needle, or all of the earlier carbs? I will re-check mine. I have also removed the springs from all of them.

Ron, yes any carb that has the small screw is covered. I am not sure what needle configuration these will come with, but it is easy to change that part around. Yes removing the spring is still a good bet! Please let me know if you have one with the small screw and need a replacement.

Glenn,

My carb is one of the ones with the 3mm screw so I'll need the replacement. Maybe you can send it with the latest cooling button.

Ron

Glenn,

I need a new carb with the with the 4mm screw. Let me know if you need my address. I can also send the old one back if need be.

Thanks

Glenn,

I have one of the very first .46 motors. Not sure I really need the new 4mm carb. I pulled the spring out and I just can't see that 3mm screw breaking, but just to be safe you could send me some replacement 3mm screws. What ever you think is best.

My 3mm screw broke last year... i replaced with a 3mm screw I got from someplace not sure and have had no issues.... now that I say this I know I will have issues lol

If this replacement offer last for a while I will run what I got until I have an issue again if thats cool.... dont wanna replace if it wont be a problem...

Although it may be good to have the fix on hand if and when i do have a break again.

Paul

If you choose to send one glenn my addie is

I run a CMB Nitro Pipe, I really cant go any shorter on the header or the pipe.... if the Nova pipe will work like the CMB pipe and be able to get shorter I will be interested in that ... Please send some info for that ...ty

Paul and Craig, how about if I send you guys a few extra 3mm screws?

Paul, the new Nova pipe we built just for the wrap around motors will go down to about 8.5" or so, the shortest I can get the regular pipe is about 9.25.

Thanks!
