i'm a member of the voodoo model boat club in reserve. La., and we have offered nitro classes, but there was little to no nitros entered , my question is what do you guys need us (voo-doo club ) to do to get a big amount of guys to come race.

Never been there but id like to 11 hour drive. In February im going on a cruise and leaving out of New Orleans. I will see how the drive goes,Joe Warren has asked me to come that way many times.

We're sort of in the same boat as you guys except we're always trying to attract gas boaters up here in Huntsville along with our nitro racers. Haven't had much success so far most of the gas guys come from Knoxville that race here.

There is a post on facebook RC Water World and they were talking of combining the Nitro Nationals and Gas Nationals in one race similar to what NAMBA does. That might work for you guys I know last year th eNitro Nats was a bust for you all similar to us having a failed Gas Nats here in 2010.

I second that...I have been to the VOO DOO race and it is one of the best races that I have been to. I did race Gas there but the site is one of the best set ups for racing no doubt. I met Mud Bug there for the first time CD'in,he calls them like he see's them,and that is what impressed me about the race straight up racing.I would love to go back,and I will,but I am shooting for the Nitro Nats this year and that is a LONG ride from Fl. all the way to In. It is hard to hit all the big events that are big towards NITRO racing now days,but we are gonna try. JMO

Jeff, there is a handful of us Nitro guys in the Houston/Dallas, (South East Texas) Area. Get your dates up to where we can schedule vacation!
