I decided to freshen up the club web site and started from scratch. It's my first attempt at doing a site and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Hope you guys like it. It does have all the District 12 classes and rules as well as the schedule. I anyone has pics they want to contribute (new or old), email them to me at [email protected] .

I already see a problem, it says club President vacant.........scared to put your name there Mr. newly elected Prez.?

Thanks Don. I didnt want to jump the gun till it was official. I guess it's official. LOL

Guys, Tracy Dolphin who has served as our Capitol RC president for a couple terms has found himself buried with work and family obligations and has decided to step down. We thank him for all his hard work over the years serving as club president as well as past district director. I have been elected to be the new club president. Carl is still the VP/Secretary and I look forward to him showing me the ropes.

Chilli,

The site looks great. I got your message about helping you but really busy time of the year, thank goodness... ;) If you want to make some changes later this year, just let me know..... :D

Thanks Ron. I remember you offered to do the board for us and you're right. It is complicated as heck but I muddled my way through it. I'm glad I didnt wait for you (OCD) to get back to me otherwise I would of had to depend on you to make a zillion little changes (OCD). I may contact you later about adding some bling or maybe excel files. For now it doesnt look too bad and it all all the info people in the club and district need. Just waiting for the Google spider to do it's magic.

Don,

I would be happy to help. What changes would you like to see? If someone can keep content feeds to me it would be a breeze.

Where is the domain registered and where is the site hosted?

Get with Chili on that one as Tracy had that site as well.

Chilli,

Can you email me the details on the site? I will start getting it updated. I will need the domain info, website hosting info, logins and passwords. Thanks.

Ron, I would love to however Don any myself were unable to get that info from the web master last year when I offered to update the site........and that's the reason I started a new site with a new domain name for the Capitol Club. The new club web site uses Hostgator and I have been very happy with it so far. The cost was $86 for the first year and I think it will be a little over a hundred a year after that (less if you sign up for a multi year contract). Also, I believe Chis Wittrig was a admin and if Don has a contact number for him, he might be able to supply the log on info. I will try to contact the webmaster but if it doesnt work out I think the best bet would be to start a new site as I did. I posted alot of D12 stuff in the club site including district classes and rules. Please have Don review them again and feel free to use anything off the Capitol Club site.

My email is [email protected] if you need to email me.
