Do you still need a cowl?? I have one of Foley's 'glass cowls uncut I can send you if you pay postage. Tom didn't charge me for it so i will do the same for you. It's the "hi rise" style to clear angled carbs. :)
Yes Don would pay the postage, just picked up gellcoat for tom but he is very busy chasing the green back , What would the postage be to 33703? Yes Joe the long struts are there for now its what I had on hand. I have asked before and no one could tell me an advantage to the short or long struts. All I can figure is more arm between the turnfin and the props also gets them away from the rudder when the VACs go in the boat with alittle bigger props. As it is I have 3.5in between shaft centers

Tom
The Boat dont Know if you put long struts on it? Or Moved the rears forward. Looks the same to the boat...... I run that strut But cut the most of it off.

Would you move the rears 1 inch forward too?Either way you are moving the props away from the rear sponsons the very thing that carries them in the corners. Good luck!

Yes................................Fun!!! Have seen it before!!! Know JUST what it will do..............On a Road Runner.

But an ELK Twin I know nothing about. So any information that I have stored in my head will not apply as this is a Whole new boat. And the only person that has the information as to what it will do is you. So you will have fun with your learning curve. The high ponits if it is going good are always enjoyably. But the low points come with learning.

Over the years I have learned if you can "not" find fun, humor, something that allows you to enjoy, you are in the wrong pool.

I am having "fun" in my quest for the "triples" I hope you can do the same. B) :)
