New mod-vp

as you know, derrick, i won one of mark poole's mod vp's at the tunnel champs. i'd love to have one of yours to run with it. my son & i each will have a mod vp that way . the more of them we can put on the water, the better chance we have of getting it as a sanctioned class, imho.......

Did u win a raw or painted boat? Just curious as to who won the painted boat.

One of the guys from South America won the painted boat. Very nice job btw, it was the first time I had seen that boat up close since you painted it.

Robin is getting one for being the biggest smack mouth prior to the race. :lol:

yup, gonna call it "smack talk" & use the mascot from the sugar smacks box - frog with ball cap ....... get some ideas, rusty, that's what i'm thinkin'.

wish in one hand, &..........you know the rest :lol: :lol: . i have a dist. points race the same weekend as carlisle . i'll do carlisle thurs. & fri., & race the weekend. i'll drive home each night from the races, so if you want to stay at the house, it will still work . lmk.

I am almost done with the new mold that changes the parting line. It will be alot better looking and easier to bond the two halfs. Then I will start passing hulls out. I am picky as hell....

Yesssss i never think that this babys come back with me to my country, is the best close for this excelent Championship weekend, now it is safe at home and it have a new engine and radio stuff waiting to start setup. I show my video of MODVP race on Championships and some fellas here are interest.. , Rusty congratulations, is thes BEST paint Job of all my fleet. Sure next 2009 Tunnel Championship it return to USA ready for race.

New mold

Only half of the dummy merc Is In the pic but, I have a mold made of the whole thing... I can make It turn with the rudder and spit water while moving.

This Is the first boat from the new mold and I will be testing a couple differant set ups maybe next week( all electric Inboard power cuz It hauls the mail!)

Nice job of making a mini STV! It will handle much different with an outboard. I would put a stock K&B om it and go from there.

Thanks Mark! I have no Idea with a OB what It will do on that size pad... I started building this hull as a novelty @ 1/10 scale with Inboard electric power for a easy build In my eyes. I am not much on nitro and never ran one. I just need to convert my lawless leg to take the electric motor to test It out.

I thought a pickle fork won and htv was second??? Hmmm...

Robin you got It... Yhm @ S&F. I know the hatch will have to have slots cut In It for the steering linkage... No biggy.
