New guy here.

I live in Katy, Texas and have recently made the jump from my “hobby” of RC boats to racing with my local RC Namba affiliated club, HOTMBC (Heart of Texas Model Boat Club). First step was to join NAMBA and show up with my “hobby boats” to race with some very seasoned, welcoming and VERY fast club members.

My interest for RC boats includes tabletop designing and scratch building semi-scale raceboats in the P-limited and now Full-P category. Also, I really enjoy designing RC outboard hulls and rigging/setting up outboards.

As I get into racing more at HOTMBC, I look forward to learning more from the wealth of talent here at IW.

The attached pics are the core of my P-limited and Full-P raceboats. A 1/4 scale kneeler hydro P-ltd., a pair of scratch designed tunnels, my new PX-300 tunnel and my P-ltd Rigger.

I hear ya about life…I’ll miss the next race at HOTMBC this Saturday due to a family commitment.

However, I’ll try and make the first Saturday in June HOTMBC race.

Yes, great running the tunnels and outboards in general.

Thanks Mike. I knew I was addicted in a good way when I threw my FE outboard rigger in the pond the first time and it almost sank!

Took some serious “addiction level” re-design to make it run and turn as it should.
