Hello Everyone!
My name is George, and I’m from Germany. I’m new to the RC boating world and haven’t bought a boat yet, as I’m still in the research phase. My project might be a bit more involved than usual, so I’d love some advice.
I’m looking for a ready-built boat that I can modify later. The hull should prioritize stability in wavy conditions rather than high speed, and I’d like it to have a self-righting feature. It also needs to support a large battery setup and extra equipment, such as an autopilot (like an Orange Cube + GPS) and a powerful camera on a gimbal (with pan and tilt). I’m aiming to transmit the video signal over a long distance.
Additionally, I’m wondering if this kind of setup can handle saltwater conditions—any advice on that?
