new boat

I recently re-assembled an electic viper that I tore up when I was a little kid. I enjoy driving the boat, and I realize i love rc boating, but the boat is just not near fast and big enough for me. I've been considering a CEN aquajet but I don't think it's big enough for what I want, and i'd also like to put a little building time into a boat (for fun, and to save some cash). I'm looking for something like a 40" fiberglass deep v boat, but i'm open for other suggestions. I'm looking to spend around $400-$500 to get it running. Is it possible?

I got a CEN Aquajet RTR Nitro, I like it alot, why are you looking for a bigger boat?

I know the aquajet is fast but i'd like to get something that is a little different from my viper. besides the engine they're almost identical.
