Savoxusa.com is having a February sale free shipping. Also the 1256tg is the servo I use, it has 277 oz,have not had 1 fail.

I use the 0251 for steering on my gas mono & rigger, & I just picked up a waterproof 0231 for my new .21 M11 Dragon (-; Same spline (25) as futaba. These 2 are digital, but work just fine paired with an analog throttle servo in ppm mode.

Got myself a new addition to the family tonight. I probably should have started this endeavor in October. I'll have to rush to make next month's practice date, but that's part of the fun. Shawn does excellent work!

And it's a good bit bigger than the Sport boat...so that'll take some getting used to...Which should be a lot of fun!

Excellent, thanks Rene. I was getting cross-eyed looking and comparing all of these servos. They have a HUGE selection...amazing...

Good deal, thanks.I have looked at those 2. Yep, digital is what I need. Hope all of you guys getting Dragons are planning on posting some build/setup threads!

Sounds awesome, Rick. I'm sure you already know, but I bet you'll like it!

Thanks again everyone. Much appreciated.

Had a "snow day" today....not that often that we get snow here in MS. But we did...and it's quite significant (for us anyway). At any rate, I was able to get the motor mount done. My new Savox servo won't be here for a few more days, so I've been doing other things. Fun stuff.

Thanks Rene, Thanks Butch! I'll try to keep this thread updated. I don't have much to report at the moment... I did get the Savox servo in yesterday, so I'm busy screwing up the radio box

.

I will say, however, that these Savox servos are very impressive. If I have to re-tool one of my helicopters, I'm going to look very hard at these. If they keep up the "February sale" kind of prices, or do it again, it will make it very hard to not buy their gear. I reckon that I need to run this stuff for a while, but from everything that I've seen, these are quality electronics.

So, thanks to everyone that mentioned them. I like options, and this was a good one!

Thanks Ron, I was kind of laying on my rear for a while, but it is nice to get this thing so close to the end. Got another practice date coming up, and the HSV race at the end of May (looking forward to watching that Friday twin-rigger shootout!).

Thanks, Andy, definitely looking forward to it! There is a lot of work/testing to be done until then, though. Still, I'm getting excited about it!

Robert, look up to post #28

I fixed that issue quickly! Thanks for the input, I like JR stuff (Fly JR electronics in my Helis).
