Kently,

The 1450 I am running is a full blade, with the tongue cut off.

I two have a irwin pipe like you... It didn't work.

if you run across a nitro pipe like you have please let me know

thanks,

chris

Since Irwin sold the business, maybe the new owner would be willing to make a new batch.

I spoke with Jimmy last weekend at a race about the desire and interest for these pipes. He has seen the postings and told me he will look into making some. He may make some prototypes for testing. Be patient.

Clay,

I have not received any yet for testing. No news yet I hate to say.

John

I hope he sends one to Kentley so we can see if they work.

kently or preston,

is there a " optimum stinger size " to be shooting for with these pipes as discussed earlier.

chris

Chris,

.311 is working well for us here in the midwest. Getting back to the subject

matter, anyone try the 2014 propeller on their Nova Rossi 21's yet? I think

this propeller could have a lot of potential. :)

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

mark,

are you talking about this boat to heat race with or to do straight away with??

chris

Chris,

Heat racing what else is there? Str.Away is still a learning experience for me.

I think the 2014,or the 52 x 70 is possibly the propeller you are searching for.

I am researching an idea about propeller design, and I think you have helped

me more than you could possibly know. I will let you know if my ideas on the

subject ever amount to anything. I just need to go South for some winter testing.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Mark,

What kind of measured speeds are you consistantly running?

As far as an Orlic NR and Hummingbird combination is concerned the .300" is the way to go. I have seen about 5 of these and the all can run 75mph in heat racing trim. Once again I want to reinforce that nobody runs 75mph for 6 laps. Only that with the same setup and a third channel the boat can go 75 if needed.

I have seen the standard bore run and it isn't as good.

Preston,

Measured speeds are in the 60's to low 70's with good air and water.

I am not running a Hummingbird though,a Warlok,or a Betke 21 is what I run.

These are with a MAC 21 currently,but I have a new Orlic N/R 21 to try once

the lake opens up again. I am sure the stinger diameter will possibly help. Once

I get these (8) pipes tested I will know a lot more. :)

Thanks For Sharing,

Mark Sholund

mark,
