1st 1 out the moulds ,been along time project but pretty happy with the results
Added some vinyl as will be on display at local show and then get 1 ready for the the water

. have to ask why run inboard you do realize that's a tunnel boat don't you.

Thanks bud, Yes i know its a tunnel

OB's here in the UK are few and far between and work out mega expensive ,more than my budget will allow so inboard is the way i get to run my bigger tunnels
Other reason our club rulings also dont allow more than 65mm of exposed exhaust (health & safety) so running OB is also out the window
It will be a contender im confident as its based on previous F1 with a couple of minor changes

Hi Mike ,im no expert im learning the hard and expensive way ,the F1 was about the 7-8 th hull iv done so room for improvement ,iv got the layups for the X-cats sorted just need to do another 1 of these F1's and hopefully ill have that sorted aswell

Moulded and joined new hull
Added extra floatation foam in sponsons before i joined the hull ,engine stringers fitted and trimmed and polished up

New stronger layup including carbonfibre
Carbonfibre reinforced transom and rear of pod floor
Engine and driveline ,rudder and OB cowls fitted

that is so cool, the design and shape are unreal, what did you uses to make the shape , clay , wood or what?

the main build was using wood,then used foam and wood to make the nose, canopy and ob cowls then then lots of sanding and shaping

New exhaust and cooling pipe and radiobox arrived, mounted the exhaust bracket and tried radiobox placement
Made & fixed the grab handles and canopy locks
Waiting for couple other bits to arrive so can fit out radio,servos etc
Just gotta figure out now best way to mount radiobox
Iv got some alloy angle so thinking using some of that cross the tunnel and mount it that way
