I managed to get one of the h49 props balanced yesterday boy it took some doing but it can be done you do have to grind some of the hub but you also have to realine the blades. Ill try it out next week and see how it go's

Hey Paul,

I tried one of the H49's on Saturday Afternoon and it looks fast!

I think I showed you the H49 of mine with practically no hub left.

The hole seems to be off centre.

Paul,

I told you they were some work!! Seem to be a pretty quick prop on a 67 tho.

The fundamental problem is the hole is not between the centre of masses of the blades. This needs to be corrected either in the mould or in the drilling process.

Still trying to work out what to do for props..... : :)

Nitrocrazed racing. Stainless props DO bend....

I had a good look at the stainless H50 that I bent. I had thought I had only bent the tips, but when I compared it to a good H-50 I found that the whole blades had been re-shaped reducing the rake! I would not have thought that was possible...

Yes i know the one you showed me was very thin but they can be balance without thining the blabe tip so much id have to show you one so you could see what i mean.

No not exactly just a difrent approch to the problem when you have a hole of center you have realine the blades to the hole this entails triming the blades a littel it change the blade shape slitley but it's the only way you can balance them you still have to remove materail from the hub but not as much.
