Here's a few pics of my new .21 boat for this season. It was actually the first ever build for me. I've finished and assembled several boats over the years but never actually built my own. I did have help however. Here's a list of thanks for hardware etc.

Dick Tyndall - turnfin

Steve Wood - transom hardware

Kerry Norton - custom motor mount, boom collars, pipe mount etc.

Walt Barney - stainless tank

Engine is a N/R hybrid from Glenn Quarles modified by Frank Orlic

Boat weigh's in at 3 lbs 11oz RTR

Only been out for one test session to break the motor in and take it for a ride. Everything looks promising so far. We'll see...

ps. Don't tell me what it looks like cuz I already know. Lol ;)

Nice build Ron, (looks like) cream always comes to the top. ;) Best of luck with it, maybe see it run at Hobart?? B)

Very Nice build!

I'm on my second "built from scratch" now - it's very rewarding when it is finally up and running!

Saweeeet!

Very nice and clean!

You're gonna have fun with that! :)

Wheredya get that CF cowl?

ps: You'll never build a "kit" again. B)

Ty,

Every boat that Ron Builds is FAST.

This one is showing great promise already. :D

Ron,

I have another propeller that should get you there.

I sent you the specs on the 45 rudder that we talked

about the other day. I like the tub design Ron. :D

1.40 to be exact :D

Looks more like a R/R Extreme 21 than anything else.

Have Fun Testing,

Mark Sholund

Nice build Ron. I notice that you had a lot of raw nylon screws. One thing we do to give them a little color is to put them in Ritz Dye. We use a pot on the stove and bring to a low boil on a water dye mix. I have used many different colors on clear airplane canopys but have only been using black on raw nylon.

Looks nice Ron,

If I can find some time and get off my lazy butt, maybe I can get my Jag done so we can do some racing this year!

Later,

Mike
