I know this is not on the right thread but I would like to thank all the racers that have painted their boats "PINK" for Breast Cancer Awareness. And all of you that have the little pink ribbons displayed on your boats. I will be under going (hopefully) my last surgery in the morning for this awful disease. If not for the support of my friends we will never win the war on breast cancer or any other cancer. Please continue to race those boats in the memory of all the women who have lost their battle and all of us who have won! Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow. Randy Corbin ..you will always have a special spot in my heart for the work you and Courtney have done to support the charities that help look for a cure. I might be down for a few days but as hyper as I am I will be back to my old self in a few days...jj

Jeni.

my thoughts are with you.

But I think you have the right spirit by saying...I might be down for a few days...I will be back to my old self in a few days.

Ronald.

Wish i could do more.

Jen

Hang in there you will be back on your feet in no time. SOWEGA is only a couple of weeks away. My Pink Cracker has a fresh Huff Mod in her and will be flying for the cause.

Thought are with you.

Jeni the Atwells will be praying for you and your whole family. It was really nice seeing your two daughters and your preciuose little grand baby this week end at the pond. thank you for all you do with the sport. You do not see many of the women folk stepping up like you have and we love you and thank you for it.

Jeni,

We will all be thinking of you in the days to come. You have touched so many people in our hobby and our "family" is now reaching out to you with our thoughts and prayers.

Be well, :)

Hi Jeni, kinda lost touch with you, but i just wanted you to know that everyone in my family will have you in they're prayers, but we all know that yer gonna be JUST FINE! :) I sure hope that one day soon, ill get to see you and yer gang once again, as the Pink Shirt race at Brandon a while back was one of the most fun races ive ever been a part of! Soon, my 2 youngest Granddaughters and i are going to be roaming thru our neighborhood to try and collect donations for the family of an adorable 3 year old little girl that we dont even know, who was diagnosed with lukemia....same old story, the family has health insurance....but not enough.....what price does one put on the life of a 3 year old little girl? Sometimes i just dont get it! I wish you all the best, and i still want to race you for that DARN SHIRT!  Bill

Thank you all for your prayers.

I can never put it into words my graditude to see how many of you guys and girls kept me in your thoughts and prayers. It is knowing that so many of you truely care about me that helps me recover so fast. I am on postop day 2 and feel like I have been run over by a few of the boats. But I think I passed that little test that the good Lord threw my way. Doctor said that will be my last surgery so I am now ready to move on to a new chapter in my life. We all need to continue to support any event that helps look for a cure for this type of cancer or any other types. I will keep all your loved ones in my prayers now so they can move on to a semi normal life too... I will be making a few more pink ribbons and take them to the races we attend so you can put them on your boats(or I can send them to you.) It puts a smile on my face to see all of you with them on your boats...THANKS again and I love each and every one of you. It was the "RC boating family" that kept me going when I needed that extra energy. God Bless you all...jj

PS - Please have your loved one get yearly check up's so if something turns up they can start treatment right away.
