A DUNNY TUNNY for sure.. Dunny did you build that one.. that radio box looks like a Top Speed box and the tank mount somewhat like an old Villain S1 design.

I made my own stainless tanks. The bracket on the transom was for 3rd channel carb adjustments.

I really like the looks of that one the paint is nice and bright I bet that shows up good on the water.
What was the reason for needing so much weight up front? do you remember what it was doing to need that much ?.

Just to get the weight balanced better with all the weight of the motor and lower unit hanging off the back. I'm starting to remember setting the boats on a flat surface with a dowel underneath running left to right . Measuring from the transom forward to get the balance point.

I've been out of the hobby sometime between 06 - 08 I'm guessing.

I was thinking that was why just that heavy motor needs that much weight forward to balance it out. That is alot of aluminum hanging back there.

That's also when I learned about stumble blocks. Without them or to short it would hook big time.

Those cowls look really good on it. Will be neat to see how much different it drives compared to the vs1 i have.
