NAMBA F/E records and IMPBA records

I spent some time today looking at records and I was unaware that NAMBA does not setup the oval for National records. The 5 lap race records are an indication of who is running fast but that's about it. Is there any reason why NAMBA does not do this?

The IMPBA has both and it's been nice to run the large oval.

I think we could already be running several classes on the 1/6 mile oval anyway. I look for forward to running my UL Hydro in Huntsville on the large oval. Barry Janzen helped with the setup on this hull and it's really nice.

I have no idea Steve, but I sure wish they did it like IMPBA. I'm sure I could shave off a few more seconds if I didn't have to worry about the start, other boats or race water.

They do hold 2 lap nitro records, but it's bigger course. Maybe they would allow us to run on their course?

There is one other solution, I've taked to a few other guys and we all agree Huntsville would be a great trip. Not this year, but it's on my list of cool boat places I want to go to!
