Gone are the days when our NAMBA membership included our insurance where ever we ran a boat.

As I recall it was one of the deciding factors in Florida becomming a NAMBA District.

It was Ron alot of here in the District talking about moving back to impba, also alot of people here in Florida go to Geo. and the Carolinas to race they be racing for points also if we changed back and we do have a Director already in place for IMPBA

I have always liked IMPBA much better! Yeah the insurance was a plus when it would follow you to any pond you ran at but those days are over! I say IMPBA all the way!

It would mean no more keeping track of buoy cuts/ lap penalties and going back to the much easier 50 point deduction per cut. Less headaches and arguments on the drivers stand!

Our lake is not insured because it is connected to the Clinch river but it is secluded enough. We police each other to prevent people from doing anything stupid. Most of our club members are IMPBA members. We race Gas, Nitro and Scale. We are the "Knoxville gang club", we race in Atlanta, Huntsville, Evansville, Charleston, etc.
