Remember me joking about Ty being a chip off the old block? We pulled the motor out of his Viper last night to put in the new one. The old one is baked. bahaha Two motors in one day. That motor was only 3900 kv running a 632. Bearings feel like there's a pound of dirt in them.

The led sled is all switched over for roundy rounds this weekend. You should see it run with a big fat Neu and 4s2p. Yikes.

Mike, I didn't lap you did I? Somebody got lapped in that last heat. My motor came in 96 degrees. Not sure if I'll prop up.
I started in third behind you and Ken. Ken spun out on bouy 5 and I moved to 2nd. You finished infront of me.

I am not worried about getting my UL-1 up to speed with "The Led Sled." That thing is WAY fast, and really hooked up. I can't think of anyone that can keep up with your whip.

I've got some higher C cells going in the Piston boat(Vegas), the Sled is going down next time out. LOL (Hey Mike, your always welcome to draft me)LOL

Man UL1s were everywhere, i was seeing double, tripple, quads was getting real scary! :D

We'll have to work on settling those down a bit. Speed isn't really an issue. The sled does well because I never have to let off for anything.

Mike, bring the UL out to Wed practice. We'll work on it. Nobody is going to catch your N2. Well, for a while at least. Time to work on the UL.

Thanks for the comments on my N2. I am super excited how it ran with the X435, but MAN O MAN after I put that X438 (de-tougned and tips removed from the ears) it was screaming fast. After about 4-5 laps temps were only about 110 degrees. As long as it can handle race water it will be quick.

UL-1 needs some more work. I have been consluting with Grim, giving him my feedback and getting feedback from him. I really want these things to work. I have a few more props that I want to try. I feel like I still have room to move the strut down too. It sucks that Chuck's turn fin cut loose, but I have been PM'ing him on RRR trying to get him in the right direction for fixing it.

No testing for me. I am on a plane to Texas for work in the am. I have to wait until Next Week!!!

Ran mine for the first time this past weekend. WHAT A BLAST!!!!! Gonna race it with our electric club in Pueblo, CO.

It was nice to meet and race with Dick Roberts who came up from New Mexico to teach us a thing or two.

This UL1 is well worth the money.

Alan, I know, I know.... Hey I need some pipe and prop info for my .45 and 67 riggers for Washington. Tell me what I should bring so I can go fast like the rest of you sea level crack heads.

I am still NOT done with a gas boat yet.

Awsome!!! Hope to see you Sunday.

The few times I have had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Roberts race.....you can tell he is in a different class. I really hope to pick his brain about curved turn fins this week.
