Brian, don't take this the wrong way....It would be very simple to change the CR motor to regular rotation and then you would have a world of props to choose from. It would be cheaper to change the motor than to have someone build you custom CR prop sets and hope that they work....

Just my thoughts.

Ok I need some help here I'm going to run 7020 SS Props on this boat I'm hereing that the props are going to be to big.

I'm open to so help on this boat as to what Props I should run on this Twin. Keep in mind one of the Motors is CR so I'm

going to have to run a Right & Left hand Prop on it. I called & talked to Octura & they will not make a Right hand 1667

so what props would work on this Boat. Motors are CMB RS.91's. Any suggestions would be great.

Brian
Does Octura still make right hand props in the following sizes? They used to. Or can they not be made to work?

X465R, X470R, X665R
those searies of props are not transom lifting props they are more of a mono prop.

Brian,

Just have Chris cut them down to 67 mm and you will be fine.

A little 3mm backcut in the T.E. will help between .2 and .5 radi. :D

Enjoy The Testing,

Can you make an X series prop work on a hydro by adding some downward angle in the strut? Or will top speed suffer?

It's too bad that Octura doesn't have many right-hand props in their "lifting" series. Not many twin monos and a whole bunch of twin .80 - .90 riggers...

Brain

Saw that Chris has a set of 6017 ss L/R props on FleBay. I would say that these will get you off the dock and allow you run very consistant. Just a thought.

Thanks guys but I don't run at the pond as it is now. The wife thought that a bike would be nice. I had a Fat Boy & let it go. And now I'm looking at another Bike.

Give up for an HD!!!!!!!!! That's crazy dog. Listen to Chuck.....Go "Rice" or my favorite "Pasta". I've got a "Blue Ricer" and go through tires instead of Oil and service cost.

I to would like a Harley, but the cost of service is what makes me stop in my tracks. The price that I listed is "REAL" and that was last year when I applied to the dealership. If you have to, find a independent shop that has a Harley qualified Tech. It will save you a few "bucks." But I think a new CMB Rs 101 will be cheaper. ;)

I have a friend that's a HD Tech at a HD store here in LV, He wants me to get a bike to go & ride he will hook me up on the service, he will do them for me for next to nothing. I still have not made up my mind on this as of yet. I reall love my Boats but if I don't run them why keep them just sitting. I've got boats I have never ran yet. So like I said I'm thinking about it.

Brain

Look at the list of boats that I Have. I made it a point to get each boat wet. As for racing each boat that will come in the following season. Point is I enjoy both. And while I will do less racing this year I still plan to run the boats. But The weekend out of town races will be replace with the "Wind blowing throught my Hair!!!" :D :D
