Bill,

Very good job with the boat. Easy with Marty and his crew's help. They are the best. It looks much like Marty's boat too.

I really like the pipe mount. I could use a couple of them, where did they come from?

I hope to come and bring some club members to the Tampa race in mid-April. You will be in the mix with Marty, Rod myself and hopefuly too fast Foley.

Many Thanks John, and i couldnt agree with you more about Marty and his crew...GREAT folks...Marty gave me the upper part of the pipe mount, the slotted piece on the boat that the mount bolts to is homemade..i had a mount similar to the one Marty gave me, but for the life of me i dont know who made them....ill ask Marty when i see him....im probably going to be spending some time in the back of the pack for a while as im simply not as good at the driving part of this deal as most of you guys, but thats okay and hey, i sure wont be able to blame it on the boat! I look forward to running with you guys! :)

If you are talking about the part that goes over the end of the pipe that is homemade. :)

I am talking about the whole deal. I especially like the adjustable bottom bracket but using the upper portion makes the entire unit.

John, i believe that someone like Speedmaster or Tidewater also made the upper part of the pipe mount like what Marty gave me...i believe that it was called a "Birmingham pipe mount". I dont know if it is still available or not....the bottom piece that is attached to the side of the boat is a piece of aluminum that i chucked up in a mill and slotted to accept a 2-56 plastic locknut from the back side...Im no machinist per say, but if you ever have a need for that piece, ill be glad to hack you one out for nothin! :)
