Richard built the hull for me since I have been trying to finish up these two Scale boats, he did an awesome job on the build. I rigged it and did the paint, so it was all a team effort!!

Just wondering, being new to all this, when you chose the rudder strut assembly, what did you go with?
I have seen a lot of the fast boats at the Atlanta pond and they use the same set up.
Your Wicked Woman is One fine lady.

The bracket is made/sold by Mark Williamson in CA. It’s a one piece bracket that holds both the strut and rudder. I like it because it’s clean and simple. The strut is from Speedmaster as well as the rudder, nothing fancy there.

We had a blast! To top it off my 13yr old daughter who has never been to a race asked if she could go with me to see what it’s all about. She did all the vids for me posted on the VooDoo FB page. Once I explain what was going on she started to really get into it!!

Your boat is really set up well. You won the race on cornering. It was over at buoy 3 right after the start. Don’t get me wrong it’s plenty fast on straights too.

The race is won or lost in the corners! Down here since we have so many good running boats, the race is usually won or lost in the mil. No one can pass on the outside and it’s unusual for someone in lane one to give up that lane.
