It was pretty rough. The purple head was well worn and pretty beat up. It would a major effort to rebuild.

I talked to the shop owner on email and he said he was not interested in separating the motors from the boats, so no deal for now... I left him with my contact info in case he changes his mind..
Besides,,, I don't pay a lot for motors sold sight unseen from someone in the hobby that doesn't run boats.. they have no clue as to what makes a motor "good"...

I asked the same question as the several motors were in decent condition, but the hulls were pretty rough.
