i don't own own one(yet) but the dist 1Champion this year does, i race against it all year and how he has it set up it's fast. one thing i learned this year from racing is, you have to set up the boat ( any boat) for it to be competitive. you have to take the boat to the speeds that you want. it's all in the set up. mark Sacken( that's his name) made a few changes to the hull but it VERY competitive chech out namba dist 19 too. B)

a guy in our club has one and it is pretty quick. i think the reason why he doesnt win as much as he should is because of driver error.

If the mto sport 40 hull is built anything like the mto sport 60 its well worth putting your money into. will take a real pounding without coming apart, set up right (with a good codriver) should be competitive. geno

The M T O boats are verry competitive boats, as long as there are set up right..Just like any other boats..Shovel noses are a little harder to set up than pickel forks boats because of the wider area up front and the small transon area.. I have a K & H whitch was made by Kosh and Hockberry whitch in the 90's became M T O..This boat is as fast as my pickel forks and handel just as well, but I had to take more time in the set up to get it that way..
