The instruction manual does not show how to switch the 3rd channel to dt3, I did this on my old 3pm 2.4g but cannot figure it out on the newer 3pm 2.4g, Old transmitter hit the dust to many times and will not work.

thanks

Walt: page 55 in the book, I will try to explain, follow the procedure, press the SEL button while turning the radio on, next use the SEL to get to the DT1,then use the channel button to get to DT2, DT3, or DT4 screen, then use the + or - buttons to get to the 3C which is the third channel, once that is set turn the radio off to keep the selection. I use the DT3 for dual rate steering and DT4 for my third needle. I hope this helps. Rick

Rick,

This did not work to change the channel to DT3 or DT4, I have tried to do at least 15 times and no luck, I thought maybe the receiver was bad and even used another receiver. This radio is New, now I'm stumped I guess I'll have to call the service center in Champaign, Il.

Thanks for trying

Walt: I don't know what to say, I have both a 75mhz and a new 2.4, both are 3pm radio's and they both program the same. my 2.4 is about 8 months old so it is fairly new. I hope you can get this figured out as they are great radio's for the money. Rick

hope this works

I called Futuba in Champaign , and they walked me thru the same thing as inpost 2.

It did not work, they said to send the radio in to them for repair, or replacement. I gave my customer another new radio and it worked, just like the instructions said.

thanks

well i hate to say it but i bet it makes ya feel a bit better that the radio was messed up lol not you!

Walt,

I am not a real great radio programmer, but the post above sure helped me with

two of my 3PM radios. Question to Futaba? Why not add something like this to

the manual for set up help for us who are not programming experts?

Your propeller should be in your mailbox. I will call you with the new tank

measurements.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

When the Futuba told me it was the radio I felt a whole lot better, my customer thought I would lose my mind trying to get this resolved.

thanks
