Well I am really stoked that the ball got rolling so quickly with positive dialog with our district 3 director . Where it goes from here will depend on EVERY Namba member who is for it to send an e mail or letter to their respective director and make your wishes known , instead of complaining . :)

Complaining gets us no where in this sport lets all work together and get things done, and support every class whether you run that class or not.

Tom Foley the Options are: IF NAMBA don`t want to change the ruling on Max CID TWIN HYDRO?? Your club in FLORIDA Needs to Resigter with IMPBA & Sanaction the Race IMPBA. PROBLEM RESOLVED!!.... Just that Easy........ Now lets get Back to Pumping some NITRO in the tanks......... B) :)

If they raise it are we going to see Twin Gassers race against Twin Nitro i am all for this change anything to help the hobby
I sure hope not.I do not care which is faster, gas and nitro are different and need to stay seperate.Jeff Lutz

Having watched the growth of twin gas to were it is currently is a good thing for the hobby. However the two in the water at the same time is apples and oranges. Not because of speed but more of quality competition. The Gas twins have MAJOR steps to make in their development. The motors are fine, it is the hulls that are WAAAY behind. And the fact is twin gas can only improve with the help and input from twin nitro.

But most twin nitros hits the water the first run going 80+. Gas twins first run hit the water at 70+. Them watch the hulls. ;) ;)

For a direct comparison between the two twins, nitro and gas, watch carefully the Fall Nats in Charleston Oct 8-10. There are 15 twin nitros and 11 gas twins entered with the last list I received. Then there will be a 1 heat twin rigger championship race with the top 3 nitro twins and the top 3 gas twins from their respective classes being run. So a direct runoff will happen at the end of the race.

While the differences are rather stark at this time, the gas twins will catch up with the learning curve. Remember, the twin gas riggers are barely 1 year old now so they have much to learn and improve on. However, IMHO they will never catch the nitro twins at large. Just the nature of the differences in the hulls, engine plants, power to weight ratios and nitro vs gas as a fuel. The nitro twins are generally 6 lbs lighter than the gas twins. That amount is huge. Rest assured, I will have my radar gun on all of the twins.

I trust what you are saying about Ralph's new boat coupled with the RS101. However, I will not bite on your offer! The Fall Nats race is 8 weekends away so it is getting close.

Florida went to Namba many years ago for I believe financial reasons , it really doesn't matter . The entire district would have to change and that just won't happen IMO . But ...thats another story altogether ... :)

Tom IMPBA Dist#5 clubs Have NAMBA Races & IMPBA RACES. Many clubs are Dual Sanactioned So they can race either Sanactioned club events. You just have to Get the club to Register with IMPBA. The entire Dist #3 can do what it wants......... Different Clubs have differnt interest in Rules too... Gas & Nitro. This would be your short term fix untill NAMBA decides on the ruling......

Finances had nothing to do with it and that's all I'm going to say publicly on the matter..........
