having some drama mounting cmb vac 21 in seaducer 21 mono. the speedmaster mounts which have holes already drilled line up fine but,, the new induction style of the vac seems to not have enough rom for the carb arm and the low end needle on the fromt left hand side of the mount. i could redrill new holes more forward but am thinking this will chenge the cg of the boat,, has anyone had this issue and if so how did they get around it,,i can remove some area of the front of the mount aswell but then there will be not alot left for strength aswell as the star screw that conects the 2 parts of the mount together will be minamized alot,, all info welcomed thanks jason..

have you checked to see if you have the clearance issue when you place the motor in the mount backwards.

you may be able to reposition the motor a little without driling new holes by revercing the motor mount from rail to rail.

just a thaught as to motor positioning on a mount for clearance.

jason,i have a microburst, had the same problem. with speedmaster mnt., dremel the mnt. some, not as much as you would think and I put a z- bend at the carb! it works ok, I need to do somthing else insted of the z-bend, but I had to go over the top and then come down to it and then in to the horn kind of spastic looking! not much room for clevises or ball ends. i also reset the arm on the shaft of the carb using the set screw it will work! good luck on yours, RickLindow
