Motor / ESC Mount

I have recently purchased a Neu 1527 1.y5 motor that I plan on putting in a 1/8 scale hull (ML Boatworks kit - will be the yellow/black conventional T-Plus), I am looking at purchasing soon the ETTI 220A Opto Pro NAVY ESC to go with it. My question is does anyone know if there is a motor mount available to suit this motor which also incorporates a mount for the ESC to sit on top / above the motor and if so where to get one from.

Wayne there are many for the 56 series but I don't know one specific for a 40 serie like the 1527....maybe they can be modded to suit your needs.. Gill

Try HRC for a mount/can/scu mount. http://www.hrc-mfg.com/index.html

They built this one for my ML T-6 extreme kit-1527 1.5y can fits perfect, very well made.

Thanks Michael, really appreciate the info. Do you by any chance have a photo of it mounted in the boat? Did you get one to suit 4 or 5 inch rails?

I have not started the build yet. It is a 4" mount. Planning on using 1/8" aluminum angle bolted to wood blocks so I can get it out if needed.

I have tried to contact HRC via the email address on their website but it keeps getting bounced back, is there any other method of contact other than phone?

Hm. Have not had any problems getting mail to him. [email protected] as he is using aol, box could be full or any assortment of issues. Dave has always replied within 48 hrs. will let you know as I just shot him some mail.
