Due to complete noninvolvement with Ford Motor Company over the last several years. The Ford Model Boat Club will now be know as the Motor City Model Boat Club.

Motor City Model Boat Club, Based in Ash Township Michigan. IMPBA District 2. Meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. Two practice ponds, Ash township pond in Carleton Michigan, and a secondary practice pond located in Plymouth Michigan. The club hosts one D2 race anually the Power Stroke Classic.
