Here is the finished part with paint.
Next time you make a part wash with water first, nothing else takes off the pva. When you wet sanded it that did take it off.Thanks for all the help guys!
It popped right out with no problems.
I did a wash down with rubbing alcohol and then did a quick wet sand with 400 paper. The primer went on perfectly. AND no pin holes. YIPEE!
If your part is not too big use a food saver. Big thing take your time looks awesome so is the boat standHey Phil,
It takes me about 3 days to lay a part up because I can only do 2 plys at a time. Once that layer cures, I then sand and lay two more plys. If I try to lay more than 2 plys of 1.5oz cloth at one time I have problems with air bubbles forming around the complex curves. Is this normal, or is there a better way... Save buying a vacuum bag setup?
