That 78 car had some REAL PONIES under the hood. When you pull some of the best cars in the race by 3,4,5, car lengths on the restart, THAT is very impressive. That car had to be a hell of a blast to drive, and Martin drove it with perfection.

Engine was strong, but the transmission gearing was the difference on restarts
