h34r: Better contact to Andy Brown He will announce on website so Everybody keep to eye.Any word when the new Mac motors will be out??????
Hey Andy thanks for the reply. That all I wanted just a honest answer. You can bet I will be waiting for that Mac 45. Keep up the good work!!I wish I could give everyone a concrete date on the MAC parts, but at the moment I can't.
We are making progress, however.
We are working on a totally new designed .21 Engine. I'm comfident that it will be ready in July.
If all stays on track we will be racing them at the NAMBA Nats and the World Champs.
Progress is slower on the A/A pro, but we are making progress.
I know there are some of you who are waiting on our new engines, but can't wait any longer and need to get something different so you can race. I understand that. I'm sorry we have put you through the long wait.
Thanks to all of you for being so patient.
Stay tuned for updates.
Good boating,
Andy

We gonna see some of the bad a!$ Hydros from the bay area at the L.A. time trials in November? With the speed Lanza and Terry are showing they should be shoe-ins for setting some records. As Andy said... Even he doesn't know for sure but progress is being made. All I know is that from the way things look the Mac/AA Engines will be worth the wait and if you absolutely have to get something in the mean time... I hope you don't get bored with the lack of performance in your substitute LOL!. You will definitely know it is only a "substitute".
 More kissy kissy.
Allen Terry...
put down a 1:04 and some change with his Eagle SGX 40 Hydro. That is the fastest 6 Lap 1 Mile Heat race 40 Hydro ever recorded in the history of NAMBA. He took six seconds off of the fastest time ever recorded in that class before that... set by Steve O'Donnel at 1:10 and some change. He was racing with I beleive four other boats by the end of the heat and came from behind my dad (who had the last noted record at 1:11, blowing is doors off down the back straight-away of the first lap).
Congratulations Allen! And how it must feel to be only two second faster than LeeCraft Lanza's "Legal" .21 Hydro heat racing record. Which lake was this set at? Is this the same guy who had his trailer "stolen" at the begining of the year? <_< Seems that everthing worked out for the better.

...still doing it.
Well because of NAMBA's rule of records falling off after three years to account for human error... Steve's record that he set for a B Hydro in Manteca fell off the record books. At least I beleive it was 1:10. It may have been faster. You can confirm that. But I know it was not faster than the new record of 1:04. I know this because I made a mental note of his and his buddy at the time Brian Neal who set a C-Hydro record of 1:06 or 7 and some change. I considered this the record no matter what had fallen off or had been added as a result of it falling of because of that NAMBA rule. So I never applied until I beat that record and I will never apply again until I beat the 1:01 in C-Hydro.Roger Hooks Jr. ; Roger i was curious as to where you came up with Steve ODonnell running 1:10 and some change in B-Hydro. What?? You're kidding right? :blink:Well because of NAMBA's rule of records falling off after three years to account for human error...
They only hold on to the heat racing records for 3 years. That is because it is done with a stopwatch. The records done with the timimg lights stay until they are broken (2 laps and SAW).What?? You're kidding right? :blink:Well because of NAMBA's rule of records falling off after three years to account for human error...
Thanks Mike, that makes more sense now. They only hold on to the heat racing records for 3 years. That is because it is done with a stopwatch. Hmmm.... there seems to be an air of disbelief in this post which makes me want to ask this question. If you fast guys down south are "recording" times in all the rigger classes that are sub 10 seconds per lap in your 2 lap trials why is it so impossible to beleive that a guy can run almost 2 seconds slower (PER LAP!!!) for 6 laps? Kissy Kissy.
