What did the plugs look like when they had failed? Were they quite dark brown and fouled?

Totaly gon! Some are black same are flat grey. stock motor no problem but the mod motors @ .08 to .13 head shims are burning a plug every run .the water has warmed up to 60s and I have went back to mc 9 from the odonal 99 changed barrings. I even went as far as changing piston and sleave to one that has betteror tighter top and got a lot mor power and better revs thanks Charlie
