I am running the mac45 with the new parabolic pipe and have not drilled it out yet.
it worked very well with no noticeable restriction to the engine.
and i can stick to a reasonable noise limit as it is not to loud now.
I don't see a reason yet to drill that one out.
as Andy said for some combinations it works but if you drill it out straight out the box you will never know
