Wow Did Don hit to turtle then his twin's engines broke brake ?

Is turtle alive or dead?

I got that picture & a note from Rick to call him for some information about this picture. When I called, I said this was just an amazing shot. Then Rick said to look close and you will see the turtle AND the bottom of the left sponson in the spray of water. If you look at the left side, middle of the picture you can see the white bottom piece of the sponson! AMAZING JUST AMAZING!!!

ps I was so worried about that turtle

I blew the next two heats going too slow for the start and lost power on the inside motor, but managed to finish! (last of course) no did not hurt the motors.

Jeni Johnson I know has a shot of one of the banners that were hung on the lamp posts in town. I may have it on this computer as I'm using a new tower now and have been transferring files from the old one.

I missed this past years race to some serious health problems otherwise I would have been there as a spectator. I'm planning on being there racing this coming year though.
