Hi Guys!!

Getting tired of going it alone.........

I only know of one other RC boater anywhere close to me. I know the south Chicago suburbs have a good group of guys, but I don't get that way very often...

Summer is winding down and I haven't got to the pond nearly enough. My busy season (for work) is almost over and I might get a weekend or two off pretty soon. ........ Looking forward to meeting more boaters in my area.

I live in Elgin and frequently go to the North Shore area, Evanston, Skokie, Arlington, Buffalo Grove, Glenview.............

Anybody out that way??

YOu are right in the middle of District 4 and all of it's clubs... Check out impba4.com for names of clubs and contacts...

District 4 Championhip is this coming weekend in Kenosha, WI... Two day event.. Very good race..

O man.. you are so close to some of the best boating in the area its not funny..

Do your self a huge favor and go to the Dist 4 champs this weekend.. WI I-94 to Exit 339.. pond is just off the hwy exit (behind the clump of houses).

Its a great pond and a great race.

Grim...see you there?

I should be so lucky to live that close to racing! 120 miles to Fort Wayne, IN is the closest site for me. Most of the others like Chicago or the Detroit area are 135 miles or more, 220 to the old Silver Springs State Park site. I drove 72 miles one way to run with Wade and Steve one night for just a couple of hours.

Grim is right, you're right in the middle of some of the best boat racing in the whole US of A. If you can trophy there, you can kick butt anywhere!

Hi Guys!

Mike Z.

Thanks for the info.....I guess I'm in a better spot than I thought!

Is that Kenosha you mentioned? Can I get a little better directions? I looked up exit 339 on a map site.........didn't see a pond on the map.

Hope to make it sunday...... I'll look you up.

Thanks again,

Get off on Exit 339... Turn right at stop sign... Go 500 feet, turn left at gravel road.. Group of houses in front of pond. Private pond and not very big..

i'm over in lagrange park. Lake Ida in country side has a group there almost every saturday morning.
