Well...

It all started out as a good idea and somehow things went very wrong.

I met this new guy not far from where i live that is going to build a boat pond.. He wants me to help him with the design.. OK i can do that..

To say the least.. its an RC park.. They have a off road track... oval and a flying feild..

Mickey (aka I waters Crash) has a T maxx..

Hey i said.. to mickey.. there is a off road race there today.. let me race your truck.. I knew that Mickey had a truck but i had never seen it before.. Never drove it and to tell you the truth i had no idea what a t Maxx even looked like.

I have been out of RC car racing for about 6 years and am out of the loop.

To make a long story short.. yea.. i was granted the winner..

I have not touched a RC car in 6 years.. Mickeys T Maxx was not fired in 2 years..

We shoved some Byron Race 4000 down its pie hole and won the thing..

Hey Grimmy,

I had a T-Maxx a couple years ago and I really liked it. It was pretty quick for such a large truck. Even though I had fun, I had no one else to run with and guess what?

I sold it to buy my first Villain. Haven't regreted the decision at all.

We'll forgive you this time. ;) I went out to Vicksburg yesterday at the Fantom Racing HQ to watch some off-road racing. Really cool track that they have there. Two weeks ago I picked up a Duratrax Indy car to mess around with in a cost controlled racing class at the LHS near me. Eric has been driving it more than I have.

I love them cars! IVe had my share of them, E-Maxx which recently sold. I wasnt happy with the stock motor so I had to get myself two drill motors and a 150$ speed control! It was worth the 2 runs I did with it  415$ later its gone with no regret haha. Then I have my rustler, 12 cells and a drill motor lol and a factory team t3 that has seen a lovely 3-4 runs! Im actually starting my own rc parts company. I draw out CAD files and then cnc machine it. Ive almost got my e-maxx chassis finished. So if anybody has a e-maxx and wants one... call me :p Im working on my site but having troubles with changing the namservers for my domain...

 sounds like my weekend... i missed the date on the xmod race in town, so since me and my bros had the batts charged i headed out to the lhs where they have a permanant parkinglot track set up. my bros and i did a few 15 lap races while the big guys looked on, we kept trading times on and off. after dropping off my bros i went back to dial in my new chassis before i add the li/ions in, and another gentleman had his TC3 nitro out on the track, while his son had a stop watch :) i did a few laps and the guy offered to let me do a few laps with his car if he could try out mine... wouldn't ya know i cut 3 seconds off his best lap on my second lap around.

wish there was a good offraod track around here

I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I WASNT EVEN THERE , HIS LONG HAIR BLEW UP IN THERE FACES ( THE COMPITITION ) AND THEY COULD NOT SEE AND HE WON HE HE GOD BLESS :D

You are aware that rc pond/ rc raceway, rc flight field = one thing ONE MEGA FREQUENCY GLITCHER -.- 3x the possibility for anyone to have ur channel o_O... Looks like you gonna have to put some jammers in each area to prevent the signal from traveling... -_- ..

Att. Andrew

the airplane frequency's should not be a prob with the land based radio.....hypothetically......just use one frequecy board for both the water and the track....as long as everyone follows the board and doesnt fire up a radio without the clip....it should work fine I'd just hate to be the guy out on the water at full throttle when some yahoo turn on his rc car radio.....fist are gonna be flyin

Just make sure they know how to use the board. At every track I have been to (except one) you would take the clip from the board and clip it to your radio. Not so at this track, you put your own clip on the board when you were using it. So here I go and low and behold there is the clip on my freq. I take the clip and proceed to drop my GT on the track. Right before the straight there is a glitch, then it has the whole legnth to scream right into the wall. Maybe you could put a note on the board indicating the rules.
